  • Evaluate reservoir characteristics and estimate reserves.
  • Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to develop drilling locations.
  • Learn how geology influences drilling and production decisions.
  • Conduct title research and verify mineral ownership.
  • Assist with conventional lease negotiations and acquisitions.
  • Observe negotiations and partnership opportunities with other operators.
  • Learn how Oklahoma regulations influence exploration and leasing.
  • Work alongside landmen, attorneys, and exploration teams.
  • Evaluate the economics of drilling opportunities.
  • Integrate geology, reservoir engineering, and land information to identify prospects.
  • Analyze exploration data to support drilling recommendations.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines to develop exploration strategies.
  • Learn how technical and business decisions work together to create successful projects.
  • Assist with well design and drilling operations.
  • Visit active drilling rigs and monitor field activity.
  • Participate in hydraulic fracturing and completion operations.
  • Learn how drilling and completions teams work together from spud to first production.
  • Gain firsthand exposure to contractors, service companies, and field leadership.
  • Analyze production performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Work with rod pump and plunger lift systems.
  • Observe workover rig operations and artificial lift optimization.
  • Support production engineers in maximizing well performance.
  • Learn how engineering decisions impact long-term production.
  • Work alongside production engineers and pumpers in the field.
  • Gain exposure to drilling, completions, production, HSE, and water management systems.
  • Visit active well sites and participate in day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with production reporting and operational decision-making.
  • Experience how multiple disciplines work together to safely produce oil and gas.
  • Conduct title research and verify mineral and working-interest ownership.
  • Work with landmen on lease, contract, ownership, and acquisition-related projects.
  • Perform oil and gas accounting work involving revenue, joint-interest billing, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
  • DComplete division order analysis, update ownership decks, review revenue distributions, and resolve ownership discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with land, accounting, legal, geology, and operations teams to support MOC’s business.
